Custom production of rat, mouse or hamster monoclonal antibodies (incl. IgM) in in mg to gram amounts of research grade (not GMP) material. The fermentation is conducted in stirred tanks, roller bottles or wave bags using serum-free or low serum growth media. Purification by employing state of the art Protein A or G chromatography. The final product is supplied in PBS at a concentration of > 1 mg/ml; endotoxin < 2 EU/mg; we provide detoxification if needed; purity is determined by SDS-Page.

- Recombinant Protein Expression (Fermentation/Purification)
Custom production of recombinant proteins expressed in systems such as CHO, HEK293, NS0, Insect cells, E. coli, and Yeast. The fermentation is conducted in stirred tanks up to 100L capacity, in wavebags or in roller bottles using in house media or media recipes supplied by the client.
Proteins with tags such as Fc-region, poly-his; gluthathion synthetase, MBP are purified using the respective chromatographic methods (Protein A, IMAC, glutathione affinity, amylase chromatography etc). Untagged proteins can be custom purified by standard chromatographic methods following protocols provided by the client. The purified protein will be supplied in PBS or in a storage buffer recommended by the client. Purity is determined by SDS-Page; endotoxin level are tested by LAL method.

- Antibody Derivatization
Antibody fragmentation: We have extensive experience generating Fab and F(ab)'2 from hamster, mouse and rat antibodies; however, we recommend a pilot study to establish the best fragmentation conditions since every antibody requires slightly different conditions with respect to pH, time and correlation antibody versus protease.
