Bio X Cell offers custom fermentation and purification services for the production of monoclonal antibodies in hybridoma cells and for the production of recombinant proteins in all important mammalian, insect and microbial expression systems including CHO, 293, baculovirus ES, yeast, and E. Coli. Bio X Cell employs state of the art fermentation technologies; such as stirred tank fermenters and wavebag systems and our production capacity ranges from 5 to 500L. We are also equipped and experienced to purify recombinant proteins carrying affinity tags like Fc-region, poly-his, flag and GST.

This service includes fermentation of the hybridoma in bioreactors, harvest of the cell culture supernatant by centrifugation and concentration by 50kD ultrafiltration. Purification is performed by Protein A or G affinity chromatography. The purified antibody is dialyzed into PBS and filter sterilized.
